Who can participate in the Program?

Students in first, second or third degree studies.

At the time of departure, you must have completed at least the first year of first-cycle studies.

You can join the competition conditionally already in the 1st year of undergraduate studies.

Eligibility criteria for candidates

  • Average grade,
  • Motivation for the trip,
  • Knowledge of the foreign language in which the studies will be conducted abroad,
  • Participation in scientific conferences, published articles, activity in scientific societies, etc.

After registering on-line and reading the qualification criteria (available on the above-mentioned website), candidates submit complete sets of documents (in a signed folder) to the coordinator of the Erasmus+ Program at the Institute of Botany - Prof. Bartosz Plachno (bartosz.plachno@uj.edu.pl, Department of Plant Cytology and Embryology of the Jagiellonian University, 9 Gronostajowa St., room 2.29). Documents can also be left at the secretary office of the Institute of Botany of the Jagiellonian University.

After completing the application and before sending it, you should print it.

To the application, each candidate must attach a letter of motivation, in which they can indicate up to 3 universities to which they would like to apply. The first choice is the university to which you would like to go the most. You can enter 1, 2 or a maximum of 3 universities.

Attachments to be submitted for qualification

  • Average grade for the entire period of study confirmed by the secretariat for student affairs,
  • Certificate of the level of foreign language proficiency issued by the institution teaching that language,
  • Statement of knowledge that the scholarship is only a co-financing of a stay at a foreign university,
  • Motivation letter containing the justification for the choice of specific courses, including the commitment to participate in seminar-type classes,
  • Opinion of the academic supervisor including consent to the trip and acceptance of selected courses.
