We kindly invite You to the lecture of prof. Douglas Zook from University of Massachusetts Boston, UMass/Boston School for the Environment entitled: “Sample “Wows!” from biosphere history” on October, 12 (Tuesday) at 2:00 pm via MsTeams.
Professor Douglas Zook has been an active advocate for nature and the biosphere for over 4 decades. He received his PhD in Ecology from Clark Univ. He was selected and served on three occasions as a Fulbright Scholar in Germany and Poland. At Boston University for 28 years, Douglas was a professor focused on teaching global ecology, symbiosis, and overseeing the preparation of students to become engaging science teachers. He has led trips to the most biodiverse area of the Amazon in eastern Ecuador as well as to New Zealand. Professor Zook has brought his Global Ecology Education Initiative (https://www.wearthcallinghome.com) to UMass/Boston and its School for the Environment.
